With choices such as forged aluminum crestings and decorative finials, all powder coated with a high gloss polyester paint, we can guarantee they won't fade, crack or warp—whatever the weather throws at them.
The interior of the roof is enhanced with superior aesthetics incorporating decorative trims and covers to provide a refined elegance. Custom moldings and decorative corners are available to complete the overall finish.

Externally, the superior engineering incorporated in the roof system ensures excellent weather sealing, with no visible mechanical fixings—an aesthetical, and potential sealing problem area, common with other roofing systems available. Integral flashing trims and channels provide a positive sealing point with flashing from the house, ensuring a watertight connection to the main property.
All Windsor Conservatory roofs are supplied with complete rainwater drainage systems including gutters (troughs), downpipes and fixing brackets. These can be designed in to meet the particular site drainage requirements or can be eliminated if not required.
For larger span conservatories or conservatories installed in areas that experience high wind and snow loads, Windsor incorporate a portal frame into the design to support the roof load. This portal frame is an aluminum sub-frame which is polyester powder painted for a durable long lasting finish.
Available as an option on all Windsor Conservatory roofs is the addition of operating roof vents. These vents are fully thermally broken and tested to a 300 pascal weather rating. They can be controlled either manually or with a thermostatically controlled motor and come with a removable vent with a fail-safe mechanism for access and cleaning. |
