The Tudor frames are constructed using environmentally friendly PVCu materials that are virtually maintenance free. The frames are manufactured using a formulation that is produced specifically to promote not only strength and stability but also durability, weather resistance and “permanent beauty.”

Tudor frames are fusion “V” welded at the point of the intersection where the horizontal mullions meet the vertical frames. This creates a totally sealed window frame. All of the internal webs you see in the cross sections fuse together to create isolated chambers that insulate and protect the Tudor structures’ reinforcement in a moisture-free environment.

The European vertical glazing systems are not only heavy-duty commercial grade, but they also have subtle coves and bevels, and specific feature lines built into the aesthetics that are not traditionally seen with other window designs. The Tudor cross sections are much heavier and always fully reinforced with galvanized steel inserts that produce a higher grade of product.

The Tudor range also incorporate what is referred to as an overlapping design in our frames. Overlapping frames offer a better overlapping seal and outperform flush sealing designs, which are more typical in the United States.

The door handles are solid brass as opposed to the more usual brass-coated hardware that wears off in a short number of years (chrome or silver satin are also an option.) Similarly, our window and door locking systems are extremely heavy-duty force resistant commercial grade. Even the stainless steel hinges are “austinetic” as opposed to regular stainless steel. The hardware is the best we could find, making them excellent for conservatories and offering longevity beyond other lower specification products. All are manufactured from premium materials.
